Analog Girl cd release plus return of UDJIT night!!!!
This Saturday December 15th rojimusic will be releasing it’s first release by the Analog Girl. Titled “Sometime Next Galaxy”, this ep was mastered by Mandy Parnell (Feist/Depeche Mode/Sigur Ros). Channel V’s Amp review states; “ A postmodern Xanadu, The Analog Girl’s “Sometime Next Galaxy” is deliciously digital yet brimming over with a human, heart-breaking sincerity. It is truly music from out of this world”.

So come in this Saturday Night at 10pm to hear tracks from the new ep and own it for yourself. After that you control the rest of the evening with the return of UDJIT NIGHT!!!

UDJIT

You become the DJ!!! Create your own set list/comp and control the room for the night. Up to 4 people per night for 30min blocks, but bring enough for 2 hours in case your going solo. We are set up for ipod and cd’s. We’d rather not deal with laptops, just for the sake of safety (for your laptop).

****please keep in mind this is open to the public so please refrain from using songs with explicit lyrics****

p.s. these comps./sets are a reflection of you and can be of any genre you wish to play. Just keep in mind of the atmoshpere here. Thanks and look foward to hearing your stuff...

Hope to see everyone this Saturday and if not, cd’s are available online at http://www.rojimusic.com/ . More releases to come soon!!!

Up and Running

Things are finally starting to fall in line. The website should be up and running next week and i'm really happy with the first release. The Analog Girl has been mastering her tracks over the last month at Electric Mastering in London with Mandy Parnell (Feist, Sigur Ros, Mum). Need I say more!! I'm really impressed with the way she arranges her songs and the ep has a nice flow to it. There are definately some catchy parts that will stay in your head for some time. O.K. I won't talk about this any more you'll just have to pick it up(sly huh).

This page will serve as kind of a release to talk about upcoming concerts that are coming up at Spark and reviews on how they went, pictures, and general music discussion. I want to expand the music scene in Syracuse and bring out those who aren't normally heard to those that want to hear it. enough said. talk to you soon after the Kingsbury show. It's on September 30th @ Spark Art Space. Doors @7pm.......(there i go again)
